Uncle Tupelo - Graveyard Shift

No real story here - this is side 1, track 1 off of their first album, and it's a scorcher.

Uncle Tupelo drank PBR before all of those sniveling hipster kids thought it was cool to drink PBR. Or maybe Schlitz.

(I do tend to prefer their stuff when Tweedy takes the vocals.)

A little bit of Farrar's voice goes a long way, it's true. But especially at the beginning, it's mostly his songs, so whaddaya gonna do?

Also, the MP3 player that's embedded in the post? Took me about an hour to figure the whole thing out.

When I have some time in a week or so I am going to try and figure out how people put those videos on youtube with the music and simply a picture in the background (like Dan's).

It would be nice if we could find a simpler way to get stuff right from our computer to here, rather than hope someone else has already hosted it. (But the effort is appreciated, Craig.)

You could probably do it with Windows Movie Maker, but it would still involve effort.

There you go. Should have done it that way to begin with. I went the no-frills route, but it could be fancied-up if someone else was so inclined.
